RUPD investigates criminal sexual contact incident on Livingston campus

The Rutgers University Police Department (RUPD) is investigating an incident of criminal sexual contact that happened yesterday at Livingston Apartment Building A on Livingston campus, according to a University-wide email alert.
The incident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. when the victim, affiliated with Rutgers, tried to enter an apartment in the building. At that time, a man approached her and deliberately touched her in an inappropriate manner.
The man is described as Asian, college-aged, average build and standing between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-7. During the incident, he was wearing rectangular glasses, a white t-shirt and light-colored jeans, and he had a scar on his neck.
Anyone with information should contact the RUPD Detective Bureau, including those who may have been nearby at the time or saw the perpetrator.
