No. 6 Rutgers field hockey to face No. 15 Michigan, Monmouth

The Rutgers field hockey team is set to host a pair of games this weekend. The Scarlet Knights (10-0, 2-0) will have back-to-back home games against Michigan and then Monmouth.
No. 6 Rutgers will play its third straight ranked game on Friday against the No. 15 Wolverines (6-5, 1-3).
Michigan should be another tall task for the Knights. The Wolverines have had some ups and downs this season but have still managed to stay among the top ranks. All of their losses have come from the top seven ranked teams at the time of their meetings.
Historically, Michigan holds the upper hand against Rutgers with a 12-2 all-time record.
Kelsey Reviello is the leading goal scorer for the Wolverines, posting 5 goals on the season. Lora Clarke is a creator and goal scorer, evidenced by her 2 goals and seven assists for a total of 11 points this season.
Caylie McMahon is set to start between the pipes for Michigan. She has allowed 14 goals in her 11 starts for the Wolverines.
Michigan is coming off a 1-0 overtime loss against then-No. 3 Northwestern on Sunday.
A Knights win would give them their sixth-ranked victory this season and extend their record to a perfect 11-0.
After its match on Friday, Rutgers will host the Hawks (7-3, 2-0) for its second game of the weekend.
Monmouth sports a winning record and is coming off of a gritty 1-0 overtime victory over Temple on Sunday.
Sofia Fouces leads the Hawks with a whopping 11 goals this season. She has 25 points, more than double anyone else on the team. Fouces will certainly be a threat and someone for the Knights to look out for on Sunday.
Jessie Eiselin will start in goal for the Hawks, as she has allowed 13 goals in 10 starts for Monmouth.
A win on Sunday would give Rutgers an 8-4 all-time record over the Hawks.
The Knights will face off against Michigan on Friday at 3 p.m. and Monmouth at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Bauer Track and Field Complex on Livingston campus. Both matches will be broadcast on Big Ten Plus.
